This topic describes how to estimate the machine resources required for the control plane and data plane of a MyBase project.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase 2.0 cloud console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Offline deployment > resource planning.

  3. In the cluster configuration section, select a mode.

Resource assessment supports two modes: By project and Custom. The available parameters vary based on the mode you select.

    By project

    Parameter

    Description

    Project

    Select the project to assess.

    Project details

The details of the selected project, including the MyBase version, product list, deployment mode, creation date, and more.

    Estimation mode

    Two estimation modes are available:

    • Enter machine specifications to estimate the number of machines

    • Enter the number of machines to estimate machine specifications

    Custom

    Parameter

    Description

    MyBase version

    Select the MyBase version.

    Component availability

Select the deployment scenario for MyBase.

    Product list

    Select the target products.

    Estimation mode

    Two estimation modes are available:

    • Enter machine specifications to estimate the number of machines

    • Enter the number of machines to estimate machine specifications

  4. View the assessment results.

After you configure the parameters, the system automatically displays the assessment results. The results are displayed on two tabs: Control plane machines and Data plane machines.

    • Control plane nodes: This tab displays the machine specifications, disk requirements, and component overhead details.

    • Data plane machine: This tab displays the component overhead details and data machine configuration list.
