Use Object Storage Service (OSS) in the Alibaba Cloud App
On iOS and Android mobile devices, use the Alibaba Cloud App to log on to the Object Storage Service (OSS) console and configure resources. This topic describes how to perform common tasks on mobile devices, such as monitoring data, purchasing resource plans, managing buckets, and subscribing to monitoring metrics.
Prerequisites
Install the Alibaba Cloud App on your mobile device and log on to your account. For more information, see Log on to the Alibaba Cloud App.
You have activated OSS and created a bucket. For more information, see Quick Start for the OSS Console.
Logon
Search bar
Open the Alibaba Cloud App and tap the Console tab at the bottom.
In the search bar at the top, enter Object Storage Service (OSS).
In the search results, tap Go to Console to open the Object Storage Service (OSS) console.
Product list
Open the Alibaba Cloud App and tap the Console tab at the bottom.
In the upper part of the page, tap All Consoles to open the All Consoles page.
On the All Products page, select the Storage tab and, in the product list, select Object Storage Service (OSS).
NoteIf the Object Storage Service (OSS) product is not available in the Storage tab, view it in My console, or search for OSS directly on the home page.
Data monitoring
The Alibaba Cloud App lets you query data anytime, anywhere. You can view the operational status of your Object Storage Service (OSS) resources from your mobile device.
Tap Overview. In the section below, view key metrics for Object Storage Service (OSS), such as total storage, bandwidth, request count, and availability.
Purchase resource plans
When your resource plan or reserved capacity is about to run out and you do not have access to a computer, use your mobile phone to purchase a new resource plan or reserved capacity in the Alibaba Cloud App. This method is fast and convenient.
Select a Resource Plan. If you have not purchased an OSS resource plan, click Purchase Now in the section below. If you have already purchased a resource plan, click the + in the upper-right corner.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the purchase of the OSS resource plan or OSS reserved capacity that you need. Bucket management
A bucket is the basic unit for storing data in OSS. When you do not have access to a computer, use your mobile phone to monitor and manage your buckets in the Alibaba Cloud App.
Tap the + icon in the upper-right corner to create a new bucket. Select the region, storage class, and read and write permissions. In the section below, tap the bucket you want to monitor or manage:
Monitoring charts: View detailed monitoring data for each bucket, such as storage size (MB), billing requests per second (QPS), outbound and inbound bandwidth (Kbps), and QPS for different request types. Monitoring charts collect data at hourly intervals.
File management: On the File Management tab, tap the
icon next to a folder or file to download or delete it. Tap the icon in the upper-right corner to search for files, upload files, create folders, or perform batch operations. 
Basic information: View basic configuration details, read and write permissions, hotlink protection settings, Log Management, and cross-domain settings for the bucket.
Domain Names: Attach a custom domain name to the bucket so that users can access stored files through the custom domain name.
Cross-region replication: Replicate objects automatically and asynchronously between buckets in different regions. This ensures high availability and disaster recovery.
Image processing: Add image processing parameters to GetObject requests to resize or clip images.
Alert rules: View alert rules configured for the bucket. The system sends notifications when monitoring metrics reach preset thresholds. To add alert rules, go to the Cloud Monitor console on a computer.
Subscribe to monitoring metrics
OSS monitoring provides metrics for system health, performance, and usage. These metrics help you track requests, analyze usage patterns, identify trends, and diagnose issues quickly. When you do not have access to a computer, use your mobile phone to view Object Storage Service (OSS) monitoring data in the Alibaba Cloud App. This method is fast and convenient.
Tap Subscribe to Monitoring. In the section below, view performance metrics for Object Storage Service (OSS), such as Put requests, public network outbound bandwidth, and storage size. To add more metrics, tap the + icon in the lower-right corner.
