View cloud service monitoring data on the Alibaba Cloud mobile app-Alibaba Cloud App-阿里云帮助中心

On the Alibaba Cloud app, you can use Cloud Monitor to view the real-time usage of all cloud resources under your account. This helps you prevent and quickly locate issues, ensuring your system runs smoothly. For example, you can view the CPU usage of an Elastic Computing Service (ECS) instance.

View cloud service monitoring

The displayed monitoring information varies by cloud service. On the monitoring page for a specific cloud service, you can view the running status of its resources and the usage of various metrics. For example, for ECS, you can view monitoring data such as the CPU usage and memory usage of an ECS instance.

Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom.
In the Cloud Monitor area, tap All.
Tap the icon. In the drop-down list, select the target product, or enter the product name for a fuzzy search.
In the upper-left corner, select the region of the target resource. Select the target instance from the instance list or find it using a fuzzy search to view its monitoring charts.
By default, monitoring data for the last hour is displayed. In the monitoring metrics area, tap the icon to select a chart for a metric. You can set the time range to 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, or 3 days.

View custom dashboards

If the default monitoring charts for a cloud service do not meet your needs, you can create a custom dashboard on your PC and add monitoring charts to it. You can then view the dashboard on the Alibaba Cloud app. For example, you can use the memory usage of multiple ECS instances as the data source for a monitoring chart. Use the Alibaba Cloud app to monitor this data at any time and analyze memory usage trends. This helps you adjust the memory size of your ECS instances to improve resource utilization and control costs.

Prerequisites: Ensure that you have created a custom dashboard in the Cloud Monitor console on your PC. For more information, see Create a custom monitoring dashboard.

Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom.
In the Cloud Monitor area, tap All.
Tap Custom Dashboard. Select a dashboard and a time range to view the monitoring charts.

View monitoring subscriptions

You can subscribe to any monitoring metric supported by a cloud service, such as the CPU usage of an ECS instance, or subscribe to a Custom Dashboard. The subscribed monitoring chart appears in the Cloud Monitor area to help you quickly preview core metrics.

You can add custom monitoring metrics as widgets to your phone's home screen to view them without opening the app. For more information, see Add Alibaba Cloud app monitoring widgets to your phone's home screen.

Limit: You can subscribe to only one monitoring chart.

Follow this step if the Cloud Monitor area has no monitoring chart or to replace the current one.
1. Open the Alibaba Cloud app and tap the Console tab at the bottom.
2. In the Cloud Monitor area, tap All.
3. Tap the icon. In the drop-down list, select the target product, or enter the product name for a fuzzy search.
4. In the upper-left corner, select the region of the target resource. Select the target instance from the instance list or find it using a fuzzy search to view its monitoring charts.
5. In the area for the target monitoring metric, tap the icon. In the dialog box that appears, tap OK.
On the Console tab, in the Cloud Monitor area, you can view the subscribed monitoring chart.
