Complete these four steps to activate the Guardrails service, configure access credentials, and make your first API or SDK call.
Step 1: Activate the service
Go to the Guardrails service activation page and activate the service.
After activation, billing defaults to pay-as-you-go. You are billed daily based on actual API usage. No charge applies if you do not call the API. The system automatically bills you based on your usage after you start using the API.
Step 2: Grant permissions to the RAM user
Before you connect via SDK or API, create a RAM user and grant the required policy. To obtain an AccessKey pair, create an AccessKey pair for an Alibaba Cloud account or a RAM user. The AccessKey pair authenticates API calls.
Log on to the RAM console with your Alibaba Cloud account.
Create a RAM user. For details, see Create a RAM user.
Grant the
AliyunYundunGreenWebFullAccesssystem policy to the RAM user. For details, see Grant permissions to a RAM user.
For details on obtaining an AccessKey pair, see Obtain an AccessKey pair.
After completing these steps, the RAM user can call the Content Moderation API using the AccessKey pair.
Step 3: Access the product console
Open the Guardrails console and review your configurations before going live. For configuration details, see the User Guide.
Step 4: Install and connect
Choose your integration method:
SDK: Follow the Multimodal SDK reference to install the SDK and make your first call.
API: Follow the Multimodal API integration guide to call the API directly.
