Alibaba Cloud certification flowchart

Alibaba Cloud certification involves multiple stages. The following flowchart illustrates the core concepts of the certification process.

Certification

Alibaba Cloud certification provides a one-stop platform for learning, practice, and exams, covering topics such as Large Language Model (LLM), cloud computing, and big data. You can earn a certificate by passing an exam. Alibaba Cloud offers several certifications, including the developer-focused Clouder certification and the professional ACA, ACP, and ACE certifications. Purchase certification

You can purchase a certification to gain exam eligibility. Certification exams include free learning materials, such as documents, presentations, and video courses. The specific materials available are listed on the certification product page. Offline training courses require an additional fee.

Redemption code

On the Alibaba Cloud certification purchase page, you can find general-purpose redemption codes for ACA and Clouder certifications. When you purchase a redemption code, you will receive a General-purpose Edition authorization code.

Authorization code

Authorization code format: EDU-******

An authorization code is a string used to redeem a certification. It is available in General-purpose and Single-subject editions. The General-purpose Edition can be used for any published certification subject, while the Single-subject Edition can only be used for a specific certification subject.

• Limits: Once an authorization code is redeemed, it cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded.

• How to obtain: You can purchase it yourself or receive it as a gift.

• How to use (activate the authorization code): You can use the authorization code to redeem a certification subject or submit registration information.

• Supported certifications:

  • Clouder, ACA, and ACP certifications support both General-purpose and Single-subject authorization codes.

  • ACE certification supports only Single-subject authorization codes.

• Validity period: The code is valid for one year from the date of purchase and cannot be extended.

Eligibility code

Eligibility code/Eligibility Number: ACTC******

An eligibility code is a string used to book an exam at a Prometric test center. It applies only to ACP and ACE certifications.

• How to obtain: Log on to the official Alibaba Cloud certification website. Navigate to the page for your desired certification and register for the exam to activate your authorization code. The system then automatically generates an eligibility code.

• How to use: You can use the eligibility code to book an exam location and time at a Prometric test center.

  1. Log on to the official Alibaba Cloud certification website. On the page for your desired certification or on the My Certifications page, copy the eligibility code.

  2. Go to the Prometric test center website to book an exam. Enter the eligibility code and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the booking. After you successfully book the exam, you will receive a confirmation number.

• Validity period: The code is valid for one year from the date the authorization code is activated and cannot be extended.

Confirmation number

Confirmation number/Appointment ID: 885******

A confirmation number is the unique identifier for a successful Prometric exam booking. It applies only to ACP and ACE certifications. You can use it to modify, cancel, or query exam information.

• How to obtain:

  1. Log on to the official Alibaba Cloud certification website. On the page for your desired certification or on the My Certifications page, copy the eligibility code.

  2. Go to the Prometric test center website to book an exam. Enter the eligibility code and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the booking. After you successfully book the exam, you will receive a confirmation number.

     • The confirmation number is displayed on the booking summary page.

     • You will receive a registration confirmation email in your mailbox.

• Operation rules:

  • If you modify or cancel the booking, the system will send a new confirmation email.

  • The latest confirmation number is always the valid one.

Prometric

Prometric is the official test center for the Alibaba Cloud certification platform. It administers the ACP written exam, ACE written exam, and ACE lab exam. You must book an offline test center and exam time through Prometric. For more information about test centers, see Computer-based Test Centers and the official Prometric website.

Certificate

After you pass an Alibaba Cloud certification exam, you will receive an electronic certificate in English. The certificate is valid for two years from the date it is claimed. During the validity period, you cannot use the same account to retake the exam for that certification. The certificate cannot be used to waive the requirements for other certifications.
