Phoneme reference table

Updated at:

The speech evaluation feature lets you set phonetic parameters for each phoneme, which is useful in complex situations. For example, you can use this feature to evaluate English phonemes, analyze Chinese Pinyin, or evaluate the pronunciation of special words, such as place names, personal names, rare characters, polyphonic characters, technical terms, or new words.

Note

Rows with symbols for both British and American English indicate that the pronunciations are nearly identical. Rows with a symbol for only one dialect indicate that the sound does not exist in the other.
