Image library management allows you to create and maintain image allowlists and blocklists to intercept or allow images that are uploaded by users or generated by models. You can centrally manage image samples in image libraries and associate them with detection rule configurations.
Limits
Before you use image library management, note the following capacity limits:
Item | Description |
Number of image libraries | Up to 10 image libraries per account |
Total number of images | Up to 100,000 images across all libraries under a single account |
Images per upload | Up to 10 |
Single image size | Up to 4 MB |
Supported formats | PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, WEBP |
Recommended resolution | Greater than 256 × 256 px |
After you reach the maximum number of image libraries, the Create Image Library button displays a prompt indicating that the limit has been reached. You must delete existing libraries before you can create more. When you are approaching the total image limit, we recommend that you remove images that are no longer needed.
Create an image library
Log on to the Content Moderation console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
In the upper-right corner of the list, click Create Image Library.
Configure the following settings in the creation panel:
Parameter
Description
Image Library Name (required)
Supports Chinese characters, letters, digits, underscores (_), and hyphens (-). Maximum length: 32 characters.
Remarks (optional)
Maximum length: 64 characters. Use this field to describe the purpose of the library.
Click OK to complete the creation.
After the library is created, it appears in the image library list. The list displays information such as the Image Library Name, Remarks, Library ID, Image Count, and Last Updated Time.
Edit an image library
To modify the name or remarks of an existing library, click Edit in the Actions column of the target library, update the settings in the panel, and save your changes. In edit mode, a read-only Library ID field is also displayed.
Upload images
In the image library list, click Image Management in the Actions column of the target library to go to the image management page of that library.
Click Add image to open the upload panel.
Drag images to the upload area, or click Select Image to select files from your local device.
The following limits apply to each upload: up to 10 images per upload; each image must be 4 MB or smaller; supported formats include PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, and WEBP; and the recommended image resolution is greater than 256 × 256 px.
Upload results are displayed in real time in the file list. Files that exceed the single image size limit are marked as failed and are not added to the library. If you select more than 10 files at a time, upload them in batches.
Manage images
On the image management page, you can perform the following operations on uploaded images:
View image details: Click an image thumbnail to open a details panel that displays the full-size image, the Image ID (which you can copy), and the upload time.
Search for images: Filter images by upload time range or Image ID.
Delete images:
Single deletion: Click Delete below the target image card and confirm the deletion.
Batch deletion: Select multiple images (or click Select All), then click Batch delete. Confirm in the dialog box to complete the batch deletion.
Pagination: The image list supports pagination. You can switch the number of images displayed per page (10, 20, 50, or 100).
Associate image libraries with detection configurations
Images in a library can be used as allowlist or blocklist content for detection rules in protection configurations. This allows the system to identify risky content that matches or resembles images in the referenced library.
On the image library management page, click the Model/Claw Protection link in the alert banner at the top of the page, or go to the page. Based on your requirements, choose or , and go to the .
In the image detection service configuration, select the image library to reference.
After you save the rule, the system compares and detects content based on the images in the selected library.
