Once you have a paid account, you are charged for API calls to the Information Query Service.

Usage notes

The system generates daily bills based on your usage and deducts the fees from your Alibaba Cloud account.
If the discrepancy between your billing data and Alibaba Cloud's billing data is 1% or greater, the project and technical contacts from both parties will review the data. If the discrepancy is less than 1%, Alibaba Cloud's billing data prevails.

Important

Billable item: The name of the product or service as it appears on your Alibaba Cloud bill. Use this name when you reconcile your bill.

A request is considered valid if the target URL returns an HTTP response code (httpcode) of less than 500.

Important

Calls to the ReadPageBasic API are billed as Web Page Parsing (Standard Edition).

Calls to the ReadPageScrape API are billed as Web Page Parsing (Advanced Edition).

Note

The default performance specification is 5 QPS.
To request a higher QPS limit, contact your account manager or click Contact Us at least one week in advance. Without an approved request, your service is limited to the default QPS.

Pricing example:

Scenario: On May 10, 2025, a user makes 400,000 ReadPageBasic calls and 100,000 ReadPageScrape calls.
Daily cost calculation
1. Web Page Parsing (Standard Edition) cost: (400,000 / 1,000) * $2.00 = $800.00
2. Web Page Parsing (Advanced Edition) cost: (100,000 / 1,000) * $10.00 = $1,000.00
3. Total cost for May 10: $800.00 + $1,000.00 = $1,800.00
