CleverSee Web Search overview
This topic provides an overview of CleverSee Web Search, covering its features, edition comparisons, and how to try the service and integrate the API.
1. Product overview
A unified API allows developers to flexibly integrate the Web Search CN Edition (for domestic content) and the Web Search Global Edition (for global content).
This product offers highly configurable search capabilities. You can customize searches to meet your business needs by applying filters such as time range, industry category, domain, and number of returned results, allowing you to precisely define the search scope. The service is available in two main versions based on information source coverage: a domestic edition that focuses on high-quality Chinese internet content, and a global edition that includes premium international sources. It supports multiple structured output formats, such as short summaries, full text, Markdown, rich text, and enhanced summaries.
The key advantages of CleverSee Web Search include:
Comprehensive content coverage: Access high-quality information sources from the Chinese internet and around the world, including multimodal content, to meet local, global, and image-text search needs.
Native retrieval for AI agents: Delivers structured results and multi-format content that agents, AI chat, and enterprise applications can consume directly, reducing the need for intermediate processing.
High-quality, timely information: Balances semantic relevance, site authority, medium and long-tail query coverage, and content timeliness through advanced query understanding, ranking, and continuous content updates.
Flexible product suite for various scenarios: Offers domestic, international, and multimodal products across multiple performance tiers, letting developers choose the best combination of coverage, quality, latency, and cost for their needs.
Common use cases for CleverSee Web Search include:
AI agents: Provide agents with real-time web access to high-quality Chinese and international information sources to support task planning, information gathering, and autonomous decision-making.
