This feature is available only to paid customers and is no longer sold to new customers.

The business card management feature in the Intelligent Shopping Guide for WeCom helps build customer trust by creating a personal homepage for each shopping guide. The personal homepage has various display components, such as personal introductions, hometowns, and alma maters, to showcase personal information from multiple perspectives. Brands can integrate the shopping guide business card with their own customer-facing miniapp. This promotes the brand's online store and company information while giving customers a way to contact the shopping guide. In addition, the business card management feature avoids the awkwardness of forgetting a physical business card. If a customer hesitates to add you on WeChat, you can first exchange digital business cards to break the ice before adding them as a contact. Shopping guides can share their business cards in WeChat groups and customer groups with one click, without it seeming like an advertisement. Because the business card displays products, it is more effective at attracting potential customers. When a customer makes a referral, they can forward the business card with one click, enabling quick connections with new contacts. This allows everyone to become a promoter for the brand.

The workflow for the shopping guide business card is shown in the following figure. First, a company administrator configures a business card template for shopping guides in the Intelligent Shopping Guide for WeCom. Then, the configured business card page can be promoted. The business card page can be embedded into a customer-facing retail miniapp. Shopping guides can access the retail miniapp to complete their personal business card information. When interacting with customers offline, the shopping guide can share their business card from the miniapp, creating a continuous sharing loop. This document covers four topics: business card configuration, business card and miniapp integration, business card and WeCom integration, and an introduction to the application's features.1

Business card management

You can access Business card management from the Intelligent Shopping Guide for WeCom. Click Business card management to open the main configuration page, as shown in the following figure.

Business card style

On the business card settings page, you can adjust the business card based on the default style or customize it as needed, as shown in the following figure:

You can customize the business card style by uploading a custom background. The recommended image size is 328 px × 694 px.

You can also customize the text color of the business card. Click Custom to set the desired color.

Business card fields

The Intelligent Shopping Guide for WeCom supports the Name and Phone fields by default. You can add custom fields, such as profile picture, mailbox, position, and company name. The position syncs with the shopping guide's job title in WeCom. If a job title is not set, you can set the title that is displayed to customers here. As shown in the following figure, a shopping guide without a set job title is displayed with the "Shopping Guide" role. You can also display the company name field. If you enter a company name, it will appear on the shopping guide's business card.

Business card interaction

Interaction metrics for the business card include customer views and likes. To better promote the brand, you can set initial values for these two interaction metrics. For Views, you can set an initial number. Subsequent views will be added to this base number. For Likes, you can also set an initial value.

Extension module settings

The Extension module settings allow you to add other components to the business card:

The outlet module lets you add an entry for an offline store. You can set the outlet address and provide navigation so that customers can use the map in the miniapp to visit the physical store.

The profile module lets you add a personal introduction, such as hometown and school, to display comprehensive personal information. This module also supports adding new custom fields.

The company module lets you add the company's official website and logo to increase the shopping guide's brand recognition.6

Business card theme

The Business card theme setting lets you set the theme color for the business card. You can select a default color or specify a custom color.7

Data Statistics

The Data statistics page records three metrics for the shopping guide business card: number of viewers, number of likes, and number of friends added. You can select an outlet, date range, and period to query data and view the change trends for the business card data.

Configure the shopping guide business card in the customer-facing miniapp

On the main Business card management page, click Promote business card in the upper-right corner to promote the business card that the company has configured. As shown in the following figure, you can obtain the page path for the shopping guide business card to perform third-party integration.

You can also embed the shopping guide business card page into a customer-facing retail miniapp within Smart Retail. Click Page Decoration > Page Navigation to create a new navigation page for the business card or modify an existing one.

In the "Navigation Link" column, click to select a link, and then choose Shopping Guide Business Card from the Smart Retail Resource Library.

Business card initialization in the miniapp

After the company administrator configures the business card fields and custom modules in the background, each shopping guide must complete their own business card information. As shown in the following figure, the shopping guide needs to access the Intelligent Shopping Guide for WeCom miniapp and complete the settings under Me > My Business Card.

There are two ways to share the business card: Show business card code or Generate business card poster. The Show business card code option is effective for adding customers as friends offline, especially if you forget a physical business card or need to break the ice. Clicking this option generates a QR code for the business card miniapp. Customers can scan the QR code in person to open the shopping guide's business card page. The Generate business card poster option lets you send the poster to a friend or save it to your local album, which makes it easier to share in WeChat groups and customer groups.

Business card features from the customer's perspective

After a customer scans a shopping guide's business card, they can view the business card that was configured by the company.

As shown in the following figure, a customer can contact the shopping guide by making a call or adding the shopping guide on WeCom. Customers can like the shopping guide on the business card homepage. Clicking Add WeChat displays the shopping guide's WeCom QR code, which the customer can scan by long-pressing it.

Under the outlet information, the customer can click Go and follow the map navigation to visit the physical store for offline shopping. This feature drives traffic from online to offline.14

Customers can also share the shopping guide's business card with specific WeChat friends or in relevant social groups. This creates a continuous sharing loop.
