Traffic Acquisition Code
This feature is available only to paid customers and is no longer offered to new customers.
Traffic acquisition codes, also known as friend referral codes, are used for new customer acquisition in scenarios such as employee badges and events. Customers can scan a code to add a shopping guide as a friend. You can create traffic acquisition codes in batches. After creation, new codes are automatically generated based on the specified scope. For example, if a new shopping guide joins an outlet or a new outlet is added to the scope, a new code is automatically created for the guide. After you download the codes, you can search for the applicable file by name or outlet name.
Example scenarios:
Create a single-person traffic acquisition code named "Employee Badge" and set its scope to all outlets. This generates a unique single-person code for each shopping guide in every outlet.
When a new shopping guide is onboarded, a new traffic acquisition code is automatically created for the guide.
When a customer scans a code to add a friend, you can automatically apply tags to the customer and push a custom welcome message.
In the code details, you can view data trends for friends added through all shopping guides. You can also filter the data by outlet and shopping guide.
