This feature is available only to paid customers and is no longer sold to new customers.

Shopping Guide Distribution includes five sections: Distribution Products, Distribution Orders, Data Analytics, Commission Records, and Distribution Settings.

Turn the distribution feature on and off

  • The Distribution Orders, Data Analytics, and Commission Records pages display the status of the distribution feature at the top. Click the Enable or Stop link to go to the Distribution Settings page to turn the feature on or off.

  • After you enable the Shopping Guide Distribution feature, distribution data appears in the shopping guide list under Outlets > Shopping Guide Management.

Initialization

Before using the Shopping Guide Distribution feature, configure the initial settings in Distribution Settings.

Distribution pattern settings

  • The only distribution pattern setting is Service guide has priority over attached guide.

    • A "service guide" is a shopping guide who sends a promotion link or QR code to a customer.

    • This setting applies when the service guide and the attached guide belong to the same outlet as the customer's order. It determines who receives the commission.

  • Select Priority: The commission is paid to the service guide.

  • Select No Priority: The commission is paid to the attached guide.

  • Notes:

  • If the service guide and the attached guide belong to different outlets, the promotion is not associated with the same outlet. In this scenario, the promotion order is unrelated to the attached guide, and the commission is paid to the service guide.

  • The relationship between a shopping guide and a customer is stronger than the relationship between a public distributor and a customer.

  • If a user is already attached to a public distributor and then attaches to a shopping guide, the user is automatically detached from the public distributor.

  • After a user is attached to a shopping guide, they cannot attach to a public distributor.

Commission settings

  • Select a settlement epoch.

    • Monthly settlement (using WeChat's corporate payment to Balance feature)

  • For monthly settlements, commissions for orders completed in the previous month are paid on the 16th of each month.

  • For monthly settlements, you can set the system to withhold individual income tax from commissions. This option is selected by default but can be deselected.

    • View the tax calculation formula.

    • If you select the tax withholding option in the console, the commission received by the shopping guide is the amount after tax deduction.

  • Daily settlement (using WeChat's cost allocation to Balance or corporate payment to Balance features)

    • For daily settlements, commissions are paid automatically after the order's after-sales protection period ends.

    • Daily settlement supports commission calculation only as a percentage of the previous month's sales.

    • Daily settlement does not support withholding individual income tax.

  • Select a commission calculation method.

    • Calculate commission based on the sales amount of each order. You can add multiple sales tiers.

  • Example of tiered commission: If sales are between 10,000 and 20,000, the commission rate is 3%. If sales exceed 20,000, the commission rate is 5%.

    • Calculate commission based on the sales amount of each product.

  • Set a default product commission. If a product does not have a specific commission configured, the default commission is used for allocation.

    • This selection cannot be changed after it is made.
