This feature is available only to existing paid customers and is no longer sold to new customers.

Intelligent Shopping Guide Setup includes customer tag management, shopping guide permission management, and organization management. You can use organization management to manage retail companies and outlet information, and synchronize organization, outlet, and shopping guide information from WeCom.

Customer tag management

Synchronization logic

  • During system initialization

    • In the shopping guide backend, you can select the tag groups and tags that are visible to shopping guides and synchronize them to WeCom. Company shopping guides can view these tag groups, tags, and customer-tag relationships in the WeCom app.

    • Any changes to synchronized tag groups in the management backend, such as adding or deleting tags within a group or modifying group or tag names, are synchronized to WeCom in real-time.

    • You can optionally perform a manual synchronization of corporate customer tag groups and tag data from WeCom to the management backend. Tag relationships are not synchronized. After synchronization, the tag groups on WeCom are not retained.

    • Any changes to tag groups, tags, or tag relationships made in WeCom are not synchronized back to the management backend.

  • During synchronization

    • If an imported tag group already exists, new tags are created under that group.

    • Tags within the same group cannot have the same name. If multiple tags with the same name are imported, only one is created.

    • WeCom allows different tag groups to contain tags with the same name. If you import such groups, only one tag with that name is created in the management backend and is randomly assigned to one of the imported tag groups.

    • Importing empty tag groups is not supported.

  • After synchronization

    • In the Intelligent Shopping Guide miniapp frontend and the WeCom app, shopping guides can only view the tag groups and tags that are set as visible in the backend. They can add specified tags to customers or remove existing tags.

    • Shopping guides cannot edit tag content or delete specified tags in the shopping guide miniapp frontend.

    • In the shopping guide backend, you can edit the visibility of tag groups and tags for shopping guides, but you cannot edit the tag content. These changes are synchronized to WeCom. After synchronization, the legacy tag groups, tags, and tag relationships are no longer displayed on the shopping guide frontend. If you re-enable a previously used tag during a subsequent edit, it will be displayed on the shopping guide frontend after synchronization.

    • Note: For tag filtering in WeCom, multiple tags within the same group are combined with an OR operator. Multiple tags across different groups are combined with an AND operator.

Tag management

In the shopping guide backend, you can view the list of tags that are visible to shopping guides.

In the shopping guide backend, you can select the tag groups and tags to be visible to shopping guides and synchronize them to WeCom. A tag that is visible to shopping guides appears in both the shopping guide miniapp and the WeCom app.

Result

  • After synchronization, tag groups and tags from Social Interaction are added to the corporate customer tag library in the WeCom backend.

  • After synchronization, the tag dimensions for customers are enriched. This helps shopping guides send broadcast messages and post to personal Moments more effectively on the frontend.

Shopping guides can view customer tags on the frontend.

Shopping guide permission management

Shopping guide permission management controls the customer attributes that shopping guides can view or edit on the miniapp frontend.

Shopping Guide Permission Management

  • Click Settings > Shopping Guide Permission Management to view the current permission settings.

  • After you enable the display of customer attributes, shopping guides can view the attributes of their customers in the frontend miniapp. Note: Before you enable this feature, you must set which customer attributes to display and their editing permissions.

  • Click Settings and select the customer attributes to display to shopping guides on the frontend. Check Allow shopping guides to edit attributes to allow them to edit these attributes in the customer details on the frontend.

  • Once these settings are configured, the customer details on the miniapp frontend are limited to the fields you selected in the backend. Note: The Associated Outlet, Attach Time, and Exclusive Shopping Guide fields are displayed by default and cannot be configured.

Organization Management

Organization Management enables hierarchical management of departments that are visible to your WeCom application. Users can only view data from their own department and its sub-departments.

The following figure illustrates this feature.

Initialization

The first time you use this feature, complete the basic setup:

  1. Set a level name that fits your business logic, such as "Retail Company".

  2. Select departments within the visibility scope of your WeCom application to serve as intermediate levels.

Organization management

After initialization, the list displays all intermediate-level departments. You can assign database permissions to users by editing their Department in User Management.

  • You can search by the name of the intermediate level.

  • You can edit the name of the intermediate level.

  • You can add new intermediate-level departments by selecting associated departments from the visible scope of your WeCom application.

  • You can delete associated departments at the intermediate level.

    • After a department is deleted, its associated accounts cannot add new data and can only view historical data.

Add data

If a user belongs to more than one data node, they must select a node when creating items such as a task or a group.

Store Management

After you connect WeCom to the management backend of the Intelligent Shopping Guide WeCom Edition, the system automatically reads department and member data from the WeCom address book and creates an organization chart of outlets and shopping guides. Operations staff can view outlet data and manage "Contact Me" QR codes for outlets in Store Management.

The "Contact Me" QR code for an outlet allows customers to quickly add a shopping guide as a contact. When a customer scans the code, they receive the WeCom contact information of a randomly selected shopping guide from that outlet. After adding the guide, the customer is classified as an external contact and receives a welcome message. This message, which is configured when you create the outlet QR code, enables the guide to immediately engage with the customer. Note: You can also set a default personal welcome message for each guide in the backend. If a specific welcome message is not attached to the QR code, the guide's default message is sent after the customer adds the guide.

Outlets

You can view the list of existing outlets, which displays each outlet's name, number of shopping guides, and number of associated customers. Outlets are derived from the last-level departments within the visible scope of your WeCom application. The outlet list automatically synchronizes with the WeCom organization chart at 00:00 every day. You can also synchronize the list manually.

Search and filter outlets by name

  • You can search and filter by outlet name.

  • Click to display the WeCom organization chart tree. Enter a search term to perform a fuzzy search.

  • Select the organization chart or sub-outlets you want to view. You can select multiple items. The list then displays the outlets within the selected scope.

Outlet operations

  • You can synchronize outlet and shopping guide data.

  • After creating outlets and shopping guides in WeCom, click the Sync Organization and Outlets button to synchronize the new outlets with the Intelligent Shopping Guide WeCom Edition backend.

  • The automatic synchronization is scheduled for 00:00 every day.
