The Audience Management feature provides visual templates to filter and manage audiences, enabling fine-grained management of your existing users.

Audience Filter

The Audience Filter lets you create audiences by filtering users based on the following conditions:

  • The user's global tags match the specified tag values.

  • The user belongs to an existing audience, including audiences created with global tags or audiences from the User Insights module.

The logical relationship between filter conditions is as follows:

  • You can perform intersection, union, or difference calculations. A difference calculation subtracts the set of users who meet the subsequent condition from the set of users who meet the preceding condition. You can click the corresponding icon to switch between these operations.

  • The filter supports a two-layer structure. You can combine up to four conditions into a condition group and use up to five condition groups. You can add or delete conditions and groups as shown in the following figure.43256

After you configure the filter conditions, enter an audience name, set whether the audience is updated daily, and specify whether the audience is public. Then, click Create Audience. The created audience is added to the Audience Management page of the Global Insight module. For more information, see Audience Management. The audience is also automatically synchronized to the Audience Management page of the User Insights module. For more information, see Basic Audience Features.

Audience Management

On the Audience Management page, the My Audiences list shows the audiences you created using global tag filters and the public audiences created by other users in your workspace.

  • Click Insight to perform an insight analysis on the audience. For more information, see Insight Analysis.

  • Click an audience name or Details to open the audience details page:

    • Audience Data tab: Displays the audience size, creation time, last update time, and historical changes in data volume.

    • Audience Rules tab: Displays the filter conditions and settings used to create the audience.

  • Click Delete to delete an audience that you created.
