Queries per second (QPS) is the maximum number of concurrent requests that an API can handle per second. If you exceed this limit, requests are throttled, which can affect your business. This topic describes the API QPS limits for a single user of Real-Time Communication.

QPS limits for a single user

The API QPS limit for a single user is the maximum number of API calls that can be made per second or per minute by an Alibaba Cloud account and its Resource Access Management (RAM) users. For example, an Alibaba Cloud account and its five RAM users call the StartMPUTask API at the same time. The QPS limit for a single user for this API is 500 calls per second. The total number of calls from the Alibaba Cloud account and its five RAM users cannot exceed 500 per second.
