Ad Orders

This feature is available only to paid customers and is no longer offered to new customers.

Each marketing placement creates one ad order. The order contains allocated media resources, targeting conditions, and ad creative settings.

Navigate to Media Placement > Your Workspace > Marketing Promotion > Marketing Management > Ad Orders to manage your ad orders. The page appears as shown in the following figure.

Click Create Marketing Placement in the upper-right corner to open the Marketing Placement page.

1. Filter conditions:

  • Date range: The default is This month. You can set a custom range to control the statistical period for ad order data. The time range cannot exceed 180 days or include future dates.

  • Promotion channel: Currently, only Internet advertising is supported.

  • Placement type: Currently, only fixed-price placement is supported.

  • Placement status: The status is based on the ad order's placement period. The default is All. You can select Pending, In progress, Ended, or Paused.

    • Pending: The ad order has not reached its start date.

    • In progress: The ad order is within its placement period.

    • Ended: The ad order has reached its end date.

    • Paused: The status is Paused when a Pending or In progress order is disabled.

  • Review status: This status reflects the review outcome for the ad creatives in the order. The default is All. You can select In review, Partially approved, Approved, or Rejected.

    • In review: The ad creative has been submitted for review, but a result is not yet available.

    • Approved: All ad creatives in the order are approved.

    • Partially approved: Some ad creatives in the order are approved, and some are rejected.

    • Rejected: All ad creatives in the order are rejected.

  • Belongs to campaign: The default is All. You can select multiple campaigns.

  • Search box: Search by order name.

2. Ad order list:

The list displays configuration information for each order, such as its ID, name (click the name to view the creatives in the order), associated campaign, frequency capping requirements, retargeting frequency control, and placement status. It also displays the following statistics:

  • Review status

  • Total spend

  • Media resource spend

  • Media placement spend

  • Impressions

  • CPM

  • Clicks

  • Click-through rate (CTR)

  • CPC

The following operations are supported:

  • Enable/Disable: Use the switch in the Placement Status column to enable or disable the ad order.

  • Click the 33 icon to edit the ad order.

  • Click the 44 icon to view the ad order details.

    • Order information: Displays the order settings.5

    • Creative information: Displays the ad slots, their corresponding creative settings, and the review status of the creatives. If a creative is rejected, the reason is displayed. Multiple ad slots are listed vertically, and you can switch between multiple creatives for each ad slot horizontally.

      Note

      Creatives are reviewed by the media owner of the ad slot.

3. Quick actions:

You can select one or more ad orders from the list to perform the following batch operations:

  • Enable, Disable: Enable or disable the selected orders.

  • Modify frequency capping requirements: In the pop-up window, you can modify the frequency capping requirements for the selected orders, as shown in the following figure.

    Note

    This modification only affects orders whose parent campaigns are set to control frequency at the order level. Orders in campaigns with no frequency control or with campaign-level frequency control will continue to use the campaign's settings.

    • Unlimited: The order has no frequency capping requirements.

    • Custom: You can set the frequency and period for the order.

  • Modify retargeting frequency control: In the pop-up window, you can modify the retargeting frequency control for the selected orders, as shown in the following figure.

    Note

    This modification only affects orders whose parent campaigns are set to control retargeting frequency at the order level. Orders in campaigns with no retargeting frequency control or with campaign-level retargeting frequency control will continue to use the campaign's settings.

    • No frequency capping: A frequency cap will not be applied to the order.

    • Retargeting: You can set the retargeting frequency range for the order.

  • View creatives: Click to open the Ad Creation list, which is automatically filtered to display the creatives in the selected ad orders.

  • View data reports: Click to open the Data Reports page, which is automatically filtered to display the data reports for the selected ad orders.
