Description
When users outside China access the Alibaba Mail web page or access the Alibaba Mail through a client, the access speed is slow and the sending and receiving of emails fails.
Cause
The international network interconnection is unstable, resulting in network jitter. It is a normal phenomenon that it is difficult to coordinate network service providers in different countries to solve network problems.
Solution
Currently, the paid edition Alibaba Mail deployed node servers outside China. If you are a user of nodes outside China, you can refer to the following methods to alleviate the problem of slow access:
You can set the client's server as an overseas node server.
Access the web Alibaba Mail of overseas nodes.
When you set up a server outside China, you can refer to the following information to set policies for ports of different protocols:
POP3 settings
Enter the

IMAP settings

Because SSL encrypted connections are more secure, we recommend that you select Use SSL to connect to the server. The following are the ports that are open for each mail service and its SSL protocol. When you use it, make sure that your local computer and network have open encrypted ports.
