Overview
This topic describes how to set up Alibaba Mail to use the POP3 or IMAP protocol on your Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.
The details of the metric.
Before setting, please make sure that the POP3/SMTP and IMAP/SMTP services are turned on. For details about how to turn on the services, see the solution to the Outlook and Foxmail configuration Alibaba Mail that always prompts for password errors. Here's how you Alibaba Mail set the POP3 and IMAP protocols in Outlook 2007:
1. Start the Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, click Tools in the menu bar, and select Account Settings (A)... from the drop-down options. Go to the Account Settings dialog box.

2. On the Email tab, click New. In the Add New Email Account window that appears, select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP(M), and then click Next. 
3. Select Manually Configure Server or Other Server Types and click Next. 
4. Select Internet Email and click Next.
5. Set User Information, Server Information, and Logon Information. Then, click Other Settings. The following figure uses the POP3 protocol as an example.
a. User information Your name: Enter your name as the sender's name when the recipient sees your message.
Email Address: Enter your complete Alibaba Cloud email address, such as test***@example.net.

Incoming mail server: pop.qiye.aliyun.com or pop3.[$Domain].
[$Domain] is the domain name that you want to set. If you want to use your own domain name, you need to configure the corresponding DNS resolution. Otherwise, we recommend that you use the official service address of the Alibaba Mail. Otherwise, the configuration cannot take effect. For more information about how to configure DNS resolution, see Alibaba Mail domain name resolution.
Outgoing mail server: smtp.qiye.aliyun.com or smtp.[$Domain].
IMAP Protocol Settings
Incoming mail server: imap.qiye.aliyun.com or imap.[$Domain].
Outgoing mail server: smtp.qiye.aliyun.com or smtp.[$Domain].
c. Login information
Username: Enter your complete email address.
Password: Enter your client password.
6. Click Sending Server. Select My Sending Server (SMTP) Require Authentication and Use the Same Settings as the Receiving Email Server. 
7. Click Advanced. Select Keep a copy of the message on the server and click OK.
Although this is not required, it is recommended that you check it to ensure that the mail on the original web page is still saved after you set up Outlook.
a. POP3 protocol: the receiving server (POP3) port number is 110, and the sending server (SMTP) port number is 25.

b. IMAP protocol: The receiving server (IMAP) port number is 143, and the sending server (SMTP) port number is 25.
8. Click Test Account Settings. After you receive the message that the test is successful, click Close.
