This topic describes how to set an email reply-to address in Alibaba Mail.
Scenario
Can replies to emails sent from Alibaba Mail be sent to an email address specified by the sender?
You can set a custom reply-to address for emails that you send from Alibaba Mail. When a recipient replies to your email, their reply is sent to the address that you specified.
If you do not set a reply-to address, replies are automatically sent to the sender's mailbox.
If you set a reply-to address, replies are sent to the specified mailbox.
Notes
If you cannot receive replies, or if replies to your sent emails fail, it may be because the custom reply-to address is incorrect. You can follow the methods in this topic to correct the address or leave it empty, and then retry.
The location of this setting varies among different email clients. If you are using a different client, look for a similar option in its settings.
Methods
Method 1: Use the Alibaba Mail web client
Log on to the Alibaba Mail web client and click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
Set the reply-to address.
Method 2: Use an email client (for example, Outlook)
Go to and set the Reply E-mail.
