Configure Alibaba Mail on a Third-Party Client Using SSL

Enable SSL encryption when you configure Alibaba Mail on a third-party client such as Foxmail or Outlook.
What is SSL
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol that ensures data integrity and encryption for network communications. SSL operates between TCP/IP and application-layer protocols to secure data in transit.
The Alibaba Mail Webmail uses SSL encryption by default.
Enable SSL on a third-party client
Foxmail 7.2
In Foxmail, go to Account Management > Server and select the SSL checkbox.
Outlook 2016
Go to Account Settings > More Settings > Internet E-mail Settings > Advanced. Select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL), enter the SSL port numbers, and click OK.
