Request or release a public IP address
ApsaraDB for MyBase instances include an internal endpoint by default, which supports connections over an internal network. To connect to an instance over the Internet, apply for a public endpoint. This topic describes how to apply for or release a public endpoint for a MySQL instance.
Apply for a public endpoint
-
Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.
-
In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances > MySQL.
-
Find the instance and click Details in the Actions column. The ApsaraDB RDS console opens. In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Connection.
-
On the Database Connection page, click Apply for Public Endpoint.
-
In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
After the request is processed, the public endpoint appears on the Database Connection page.
