If a manual review result from Content Moderation contradicts your policies, you can recheck it. This topic describes how to recheck manual review results.
Background information
The manual review module displays all data for manual review, which is categorized by review mode into human-machine review and manual-only review. The data is also categorized by review result as pass, review, and block.
Prerequisites
To use this service, you must request activation from after-sales support. If the Content Moderation service is not activated, the manual review section is not visible in the console.
To enable the service, contact after-sales support by joining the Alibaba Cloud Content Moderation Q&A group on DingTalk (Group ID: 35573806). When you request to join, provide your company name and role (for example, Developer, Product Manager, or Reviewer). For example: XXX Company + Developer.
Procedure
- Log on to the Content Moderation console.
- In the left-side navigation pane, choose .
- ImageVideoTextAudioClick the tab for the content type you want to work with (, , , or ), and then recheck the manual review results as described in the following table.
UI area Description Actions Search criteria area (① in the figure) Set search criteria based on your business needs to find the content you want to recheck. You can filter by submission time, violation type, manual review result, business scenario, recheck result, recheck violation type, TaskID, or DataID.
SearchAfter you configure the search criteria, click . Results display area (② in the figure) The manual review results that match your search criteria are displayed in this area. You can recheck these results based on your business requirements. - For items marked as block that should be pass, you can manually change the result to pass.

You can perform a single or batch recheck:
- Single recheckRecheckPassblock: Select one item (image, video, text, or audio), and use the options in the column to mark it as or .
- Batch RecheckBatch mark as passBatch Mark as Block: Select multiple items and use the batch operation buttons at the bottom of the page, such as or .
Click the target data to expand the Details panel and view its details.
After you complete the recheck process in the console, the system automatically sends a callback notification with the recheck result.
