1.1 Coupons

  1. Add coupons: You can create three types of coupons: cash, discount, and redemption. You can distribute coupons by allowing customers to claim them in the online store, having shopping guides send them, including them in spend-and-save promotions, or sending them through marketing campaigns. Coupons can be redeemed by applying them to online orders, processing them through integrated offline systems, or having a shopping guide scan the coupon code.

For cash coupons, you can set a face value that is deducted from the total order amount when the conditions are met. You can also define the scope of use by filtering products. This means the coupon can only be applied to an entire order if the order contains specific products.

When defining the scope of use, you can search for products using product labels. These labels can be based on the product's Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) or the product.

Import coupon codes: You can import external coupon code IDs. This lets you distribute your own coupons through our platform and track their redemption in the Enterprise Customer Relationship Platform (ECRP).

Validity period: If you select relative time, the validity period starts a set number of days after the customer receives the coupon. For example, if you set the relative time to start two days after receipt and last for three days, a coupon received on September 3 will be valid from September 5 to September 7.

Redirect to a miniapp: When you set up a coupon, you can enter a third-party AppID and path. When a customer receives this coupon in the Membership Club and taps Use, they are automatically redirected to the specified third-party page. For outlet redemption, the system displays a redemption code for verification.

Channel configuration: By default, there are no channel restrictions. When you configure channels, you can select a channel and set a quantity. For example, if you set the channel to CRM, the coupon can only be used within Retail CRM. This includes automated services and marketing campaigns.

Coupon sharing: To support custom third-party scenarios, the system provides a configuration item. This allows third parties to decide how to handle coupon redemption based on their own rules.

  1. For discount coupons, you can set a discount percentage. When the conditions are met, the discount is applied to the entire order. The feature settings include an 'available time period' option. This is useful for offline scenarios, such as offering special discounts on products during evening hours.

When defining the scope of use, you can search for products using product labels. These labels can be based on the product's SKU or the product.

Import coupon codes: You can import external coupon code IDs. This lets you distribute your own coupons through our platform and track their redemption in the ECRP.

  1. For redemption coupons, you can set them to be redeemable for a specific product. The feature settings include usage conditions, such as no minimum spend, redemption with an additional payment, or redemption with the purchase of a specific product. The last condition means the coupon can only be used if the order contains the specified product.

When selecting the redemption item, you can search for products using product labels. These labels can be based on the product's SKU or the product.

Import coupon codes: You can import external coupon code IDs. This lets you distribute your own coupons through our platform and track their redemption in the ECRP.

Redemption item: After you create a redemption coupon campaign, you can add new products while the campaign is active. You cannot delete the original products. You can delete a redemption item only if no coupons have been issued and the item is disabled.

Coupons are area-specific. You can view all coupons created within your business group. Coupon usage can be restricted to a specific outlet. The coupon list shows the status of each coupon, such as active or expired, and its distribution details. In the distribution details, 'invocable' refers to the number of coupons from the quota that are available for distribution by the online store or shopping guides.

Note: After you disable a coupon, customers can no longer claim it. However, coupons that have already been claimed can still be used.

Note: After you create a coupon, you can still edit its total quantity, applicable outlets, and usage instructions. You can also view the edit history.

  1. In the coupon usage details, you can view how customers use coupons after they claim them.

You can search for a customer's coupons using their mobile phone number.

Invalidate: You can invalidate individual coupons. For example, if a customer receives a coupon for joining the membership program but later cancels their membership, you can invalidate the coupon in their account. This action does not affect other users who have the same coupon. Batch invalidation is also supported.

View more: You can see detailed usage information for a coupon, including its redemption status. You can compare performance by matching the order number with your actual Point of Sale (POS) data.

Export data: The path to the Download Hub is Retail CRM > Download Hub > File Download.

1.2 External benefit codes

Business scenario: A merchant uses both ECRP and a Youzan online store. The merchant wants to allow customers to redeem coupon codes generated in the Youzan store for points in the ECRP digital store. The merchant also wants to send these coupon codes as a benefit when members upgrade their tier.

  1. File import

Click File Import. Enter a name and select a type for the benefit code. Supported types include Youzan coupon codes, iQIYI activation codes, Tencent Video activation codes, and custom types. For the distribution channel, you can choose from 'unlimited', 'Retail CRM', or 'digital store' for points redemption.

Benefit code type: For custom types, the name can be up to 15 characters long.

  1. External benefit code list

The external benefit code list shows the name, type, and other information for each code. You can delete codes from this list. Click View Details to see the distribution status of a specific code. When viewing the details, you can search by distribution status and export the codes.

Note: You cannot delete a benefit code after it has been claimed by at least one person.
