You can create templates for promotional text messages and SMS notifications. After the template passes the review, it can be used when creating promotional SMS and SMS notification marketing tasks. Create an SMS template
Procedure
Choose Workspace> User Marketing > Reach Marketing > SMS > SMS Template.
Click Create SMS Template in the upper-right corner.
Select Promotion SMS or SMS Notification as the template type. The template can only be used to create SMS marketing tasks of the selected type.
Select SMS Platform.
The created SMS template can be used only for SMS tasks that use the SMS platform.
In the Template Name, SMS Content, and Application Description fields,
Information such as SMS review rules and billing rules is displayed below the template content text box. You can arrange the SMS content based on these information.
Alibaba Cloud promotional SMS supports only one variable.
To insert a variable, click the
icon at the location where you want to insert the variable. In the dialog box shown in the following figure, enter a variable name and click Insert. City Activity Deferred changes to ${city} City Activity Deferred.
To use a short chain, select an existing short chain from the Short Link drop-down list or Create Short Link, and then click Copy Short Link. You can use the Ctrl + V keys to copy the short chain to the content of the message. Format: http://xxx.cn/xxxxxx.
If you want to use a short chain with a short parameter and select With Short, the copied short chain will contain the short parameter. Specify this parameter in the following format: http://xxx.cn/xxxxxx?ph=${sp_xxxx}.
When selecting a short chain, please pay attention to the validity period of the short chain. When the user clicks on the short chain, the short chain must be within the validity period to open the URL normally.
${sp_xxxx} in a short chain with a short parameter is a short parameter. When a short message is sent, a corresponding short parameter is generated based on each mobile phone number to collect user short chain click data.
Application description: used for the reviewer's reference during the review. We recommend that you describe the business scenarios of SMS.
Click Save and Submit.
The selected SMS platform will review the template. For more information about the review result, see the template list.
Manage SMS templates
As shown in the following figure, the created text message templates are displayed in the list, including the message platform, type, and status. The status includes: Pending for Review, Reviewed, Approved, and Rejected.
SMS templates are reviewed by the SMS platform. Generally, the review time is within two hours (working hours). For more information, see Instructions for Use. For more information about the review time of third-party SMS, see the third-party SMS platform.
Approved and approved templates can be used when creating promotional text messages and SMS notification marketing tasks. However, if scheduled sending is enabled, only approved templates can be used to ensure smooth and unhindered processes. You can use only approved templates for the Text SMS Component of automated marketing.
You can perform the following operations:
Edit: You can edit only the template that fails to be reviewed. Modify the template name, text message content, and application description, and then save and submit the template for review.
Delete: You can delete the approved or failed template. After deletion, the template cannot be used by the SMS task. Do not delete the template used by the SMS task to be sent or in the process of sending.
