Create Digital SMS Task

Procedure

1. Choose Workspace> User Marketing > Reach Marketing > SMS.

2. Click Create Message Task in the upper-right corner. The Create Message Task page appears, as shown in the following figure.

3. Configure the following parameters:

• Step Name: Enter a step name. You can use the step name to distinguish the role of the current step.

  The actual content sent is not affected by the step name.

• SMS Platform: Select an SMS platform from the drop-down list.

• SMS Type: Select Digital SMS.

• Select Template: Select an existing template from the drop-down list. For more information, see Create a digital SMS template.

  Note

  Note that the template can only be sent to the mobile phone number of the carrier after the carrier approves the template. Move the pointer over the icon next to the template name to view the carriers that have approved the template.

• Template Theme: depends on the SMS template. The template theme will be sent to the user along with the text message.

• Signature: The signature depends on the SMS template. The signature will be sent to the user along with the text message.

• Template Content: depends on the SMS template. The text preview is displayed on the right side of the page. Pay attention to the preview effect.

• Receive Number: Click Select Audience, select the audience to which you want to send messages, and select an encryption method for the mobile phone number. The system sends a text message to the mobile phone number associated with the audience.

• SMS Variables: Specify the label used for each variable. If the label is empty, do not send, send a null value, or send a default value.

• Associate Sub-activity: Select a main activity and select a sub-activity under the main activity. Separate sub-activities are displayed under-at the end of the main activity list. You can associate a marketing task with multiple sub-activities. For more information about marketing activities, see Marketing Campaign Documentation.

• AES Encryption: Specify whether to encrypt the current user ID with AES encryption. If you enable this option, the current user ID is encrypted with the configured AES encryption key.

• Limit Number of People: If you select 1000 people but want to market to only 100 people, turn on the Limit Number of People switch and enter the number 100. Limit the number of people can not be greater than the number of people selected.

• Scheduled Sending: If you turn on this switch, you can specify the time at which you want to send data. If Scheduled Sending is enabled, you must select an approved SMS template as the content to be sent to ensure that the process is unimpeded and cannot change the content.

• Click Submit.
