In model item management, you can globally configure default answers and deduplication settings for FAQs.
Default FAQ answers
This feature lets you set the default answer type for FAQs. After you set the type, the corresponding editor appears by default when you add a new FAQ.
If you set the knowledge type to plain text, new FAQs will default to the plain text answer type.
If you enable rich text for knowledge, rich text becomes the default answer type for new FAQs.
FAQ deduplication configuration
The deduplication configuration determines whether duplicate FAQs are allowed in the FAQ library.
Global deduplication pattern: Prevents duplicate FAQs. If a duplicate is detected when you add, edit, or import an FAQ, the system displays a prompt and blocks the operation. Both FAQ titles and similar questions must be unique.
Global duplicate pattern: Allows duplicate FAQs. The system does not perform checks or provide prompts when you add, edit, or import FAQs. Therefore, FAQ titles and similar questions can be duplicates.
