Function Compute
Function Compute is an event-driven, fully managed, and serverless compute service. You can write and upload code without managing infrastructure, such as servers. Function Compute prepares computing resources and runs your code elastically and reliably. All users receive a monthly free tier that includes 1 million function invocations and 400,000 CU-seconds of serverless computing power.
Enable Function Compute
1. Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account.
2. Under Products, click Function Compute.
3. Click the Enable Now button to enable Function Compute.
View your AccountId
1. Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account as the root account.
2. Hover over your profile picture in the upper-right corner. Your AccountId is displayed in the window that appears.
Grant permissions to Function Compute
1. Log on to your Alibaba Cloud account as the root account.
2. In the upper-right corner, click your profile picture and select Resource Access Management.
3. Click Role Management.
4. Click the Create Role button.
5. Select Alibaba Cloud Account.
6. Enter "functioninvokertest" as the role name. This name is required for any role created by an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or developer.
7. Select Other Alibaba Cloud Account and enter "1913700457623711" as the AccountId. This AccountId belongs to the built-in Alibaba Cloud account for DS and is used to access the authorized user's cloud resources. Then, click Next.
8. After the role is created, an authorization prompt is displayed. Click the Authorize button. You can also grant permissions later from the list page.
9. In the window that appears, search for and select the "AliyunFCFullAccess" authorization policy. Then, click the right arrow to add it to the list of selected authorization policies.
10. Click the OK button to complete the authorization.
