This topic describes how database proxies are billed.
Notes
Database proxies, read-only instances, and primary instances are billed separately.
If a primary instance is locked, the proxy is not released. The proxy can continue to provide read services but cannot provide write services.
If a primary instance is released, its associated proxy is also automatically released. No fees are incurred after the proxy is released.
Billing
Database proxies support only the pay-as-you-go billing method. The following tables list the prices.
