Disable the database proxy service

Learn how to disable the MyBase MySQL database proxy service.

Prerequisites

The database proxy must be enabled. For more information, see Enable and configure the database proxy service.

Impact

  • Disabling the database proxy service also deletes the proxy endpoint.

  • The database proxy connection endpoint becomes unavailable, while the primary instance connection endpoint is unaffected.

  • Re-enabling the service provides a new database proxy connection endpoint.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

  2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Instances > MySQL.

  4. Find the target instance and click Details in the Actions column.

  5. In the left-side navigation pane, click Database Proxy, and then click Disable Proxy Service.

  6. In the dialog box that appears, click OK.
