Create a version

Background information

Before you upload a patch in Mobile Hotfix, you must create an application version. This version must match the version number that is passed during the initialization of the baseline package.

Procedure

1. Log on to the EMAS Management Console and select the Mobile Hotfix product.

2. On the Mobile Hotfix product page, in the navigation pane on the left, select Patch Management.

3. On the Patch Management page, click Add Version, enter an application version number, and then click Confirm.

   Note

   • The version number must match the version number passed by setAppVersion during the initialization of the baseline package. The version number can be up to 36 characters long.

   • You cannot modify or delete a version after you add it.
