Upload a patch

This topic describes how to upload a patch package to the Mobile Hotfix console.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log on to the EMAS console.

  2. Find your project and click it to go to the EMAS Overview page.

  3. In the top navigation bar, select R&D Tools.

  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Mobile Hotfix > Patch Management.

  5. Select the application version that you want to fix, click Upload Patch, select the patch file, enter a description, and then click OK.

    Note

    The patch file uploaded to the console must be named sophix-patch.jar.

    Patch status descriptions:

    Status

    Description

    Ready

    The patch is uploaded and ready for the next operation.

    In phased release

    The patch is being published to a portion of devices in a phased release.

    Published

    The patch is published to all devices.

    Stopped

    Patch publishing is paused. The server stops distributing the patch. Patches already downloaded to clients remain in effect.

    Purged

    The patch status changes to Purged after you perform a full rollback operation.

What to do next

After you upload the patch, you can use the debugging tool to debug the patch.
