This topic describes the billing rules for cloud storage and provides a billing example.

Billing rules

Cloud storage is billed based on four dimensions: capacity, number of download operations, number of upload operations, and CDN traffic.

Billing formula

Capacity

Billed daily. The fee is automatically deducted from your account.

Peak daily capacity × Unit price

Number of download operations

Number of download operations × Unit price

Number of upload operations

Billing example

The following example shows how daily fees are calculated based on pay-as-you-go unit prices.

Daily bill

100 GB

1 million times

100,000 operations

50 GB

CNY 10.53

The calculation is as follows:

  • Capacity fee: 100 GB × CNY 0.0043/GB = CNY 0.43

  • Download operation fee: 1 million operations × CNY 1.00 per million operations = CNY 1.00

  • Upload operation fee: 100,000 operations × CNY 1.00 per million operations = CNY 0.10

  • CDN traffic fee: 50 GB × CNY 0.18/GB = CNY 9.00

  • Total fee = Capacity fee + Download operation fee + Upload operation fee + CDN traffic fee = CNY 10.53
