This topic describes how to add a custom domain name for your static website in the Alibaba Cloud Management Console.
Prerequisites
The static website hosting feature must be enabled. For more information, see Enable static website hosting.
Context
The static website hosting feature provides a default domain name for testing purposes. Requests to this domain are throttled. To launch your website publicly, attach a custom domain name that has an ICP filing.
Log on to the EMAS Management Console. Select Serverless and click Enter.
In the navigation pane on the left, select Static Website Hosting.
In the upper-left corner of the page, select the environment to associate.
Click Settings > Add Domain.
Enter your custom domain name, and then click OK.
NoteIf the acceleration region includes the Chinese mainland, the accelerated domain name must have an ICP filing. Due to data latency in the filing system, wait at least 8 hours after the ICP filing is complete before you configure the domain name.
The new domain name may not appear immediately after you add it. Synchronization takes 1 to 2 minutes. Wait a moment and then refresh the page to view the new domain name.
After the domain name passes review, configure a CNAME record with your DNS provider. Point the record to the assigned endpoint to access the static website using your custom domain name.
