Billing methods
EMAS offers several billing methods:
Free tier: EMAS products include a free tier that you can use immediately after activation. For details on specific allowances, see the pricing information for each product.
Resource plan: You can purchase a resource plan in advance for a better price.
Subscription: A subscription allows you to reserve resources in advance for significant discounts.
Pay-as-you-go: With pay-as-you-go, you pay for what you use after your free tier and prepaid quotas are exhausted. This is the default billing method after you activate a service.

EMAS subscription plans
Subscription plans
EMAS subscription plans bundle key services from the mobile development platform, offering cost-effective solutions for small to medium-sized businesses and startups. For details, see Purchase Subscription Plan.
Developer Edition: Ideal for apps in their early stages, individual developers, and apps with fewer than 100,000 monthly active users (MAU).
Enterprise Edition: Suitable for businesses with apps that have over 100,000 MAU.
Customized Edition: Ideal for enterprise customers with high-MAU apps that use both EMAS Mobile Push and Mobile Analysis. If you only need one of these products, purchase a resource plan for that specific service instead.

Activation
By default, a subscription plan purchased in a given month becomes effective on the first day of the next month. You can select Take Effect Immediately at the time of purchase to activate the plan right away. If you do, the first billing cycle runs from the activation date to the last day of the current month.
Purchase examples
For example, if you purchase an EMAS subscription plan at 10:00:00 on November 8 and select Take Effect Immediately, you can start using the plan on the same day. The first billing cycle runs from November 8 to 23:59:59 on November 30.
For services that are not billed in real time, such as Mobile Push and Mobile Hotfix, selecting 'Take Effect Immediately' means the plan's quota covers usage from the day of purchase. For instance, if you buy a plan at 10:00:00 on November 8, the metered data from November 8 will be deducted from your plan's quota when it is processed on November 9.
Usage rules
You can make a new purchase only after the current one expires.
You can use EMAS subscription plans, resource plans, and subscriptions together. Allowances are consumed in the following order: first from your EMAS subscription plan and subscription quotas, then from your service-specific resource plan. Usage beyond these quotas, or usage without any active plans, is charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Refund policy
You can request a refund for unused and unexpired subscription plans and resource plans. To apply for a refund, submit a request through the ticket system.
