You can switch the VPC and vSwitch for an ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instance.
Considerations
-
ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instances with ESSDs support switching the VPC and vSwitch.
-
ApsaraDB MyBase for MySQL instances with local SSDs support switching only the vSwitch.
Impacts
-
This operation causes a transient interruption of about 30 seconds. Ensure your application can automatically reconnect.
-
Switching the vSwitch changes the virtual IP address (VIP). We recommend using the endpoint to connect to your instance, instead of the IP address.
-
The VIP change temporarily affects Data Management (DMS) and Data Transmission Service (DTS). These services return to normal automatically after the switch is complete.
-
Client-side caching may prevent writes. Clear the cache promptly.

Log on to the ApsaraDB for MyBase console.

In the upper-left corner of the page, select the target region.
