Learn how to add, configure, and manage multiple domains and domain aliases in Alibaba Mail.

Domain names

A domain name is the @-suffix selected when creating a mailbox account. Alibaba Mail supports multiple domains, with the maximum allocated based on account count. For example, if a company owns both example.net and example1.net, an administrator can add both. Users then choose @example.net or @example1.net when creating accounts. The accounts a***@example.net and a***@example1.net are two separate mailboxes.

Note

Multiple domains and subdomains are allocated based on billing account count:

  • 10 billing accounts: 10 domains and subdomains by default.

  • 50 billing accounts: 30 domains and subdomains by default.

  • 500 billing accounts: 100 domains and subdomains by default.

Paid accounts include all sub-accounts, excluding the postmaster.
