Migrate local email data by using Foxmail and IMAP
Migrate local email data to Alibaba Mail by configuring the IMAP protocol in the Foxmail client. This method applies to users whose original enterprise mailbox data is stored only on local devices.

Prerequisites
The MX record of the Alibaba Mail domain that receives the migrated data is switched to Alibaba Mail.
The IMAP service is enabled for the Alibaba Mail account that receives the migrated data. For more information, see How do I enable or disable the POP3 and IMAP protocols for an account?.
The original mailbox account is configured in the Foxmail client over the IMAP protocol, and Foxmail has finished downloading all emails. If the account is already configured, skip this prerequisite.
Export emails from the original mailbox
Open a mail folder in Foxmail, press CTRL+A to select all emails, right-click the selection, and then select Export Messages.

Select the directory in which to store the exported emails.

Repeat Step 1 and Step 2 for each mail folder that you want to migrate.
Import emails to Alibaba Mail
Configure the Alibaba Mail account in the Foxmail client over the IMAP protocol. For more information, see Configure an Alibaba Mail account in Foxmail.
Create a folder under the Alibaba Mail account to store the imported emails.

In the created folder, click Import Messages.

Select all emails that you want to import and then click Open.

When prompted whether to synchronize the emails to the mail server, select Yes.

Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for each email folder exported from the original mailbox. Continue until all source folders have corresponding imported folders under the Alibaba Mail account.
The email upload to Alibaba Mail is a continuous client-side process. Keep Foxmail open and make sure your computer maintains a stable network connection until the upload completes. Large mailboxes may take an extended time to upload.
Verify the migration
