Activate the service

This topic describes how to activate the distributed transaction service.

Prerequisites

You have registered an Alibaba Cloud account and completed identity verification.

Procedure

1. Activate the SOFAStack service.

   1. Log on to the Alibaba Cloud website with your Alibaba Cloud account.

   2. In the top menu bar, choose Products & Services > Middleware > Scalable Open Financial Architecture SOFAStack.

   3. On the SOFAStack product homepage, click Activate Now.

   4. On the product activation page, check the box to agree to the SOFAStack Scalable Open Financial Architecture Terms of Service, and then click Activate Now.

   5. When the activation is complete, a success message is displayed. Click Go to Console to go to the SOFAStack console.

2. Grant RAM authorization.

   1. Click Go to RAM Authorization.

   2. On the Cloud Resource Access Authorization page, click Agree to Authorization to grant permissions to AliyunSofaCafeCasDefaultRole.

3. Activate the distributed transaction service.

   1. In the navigation pane on the left of the console homepage, choose Metering & Billing > Component Center.

   2. To the right of the distributed transaction component, click Free Trial, and then click Activate Now.

   3. Click Buy Now.

   4. On the Confirm Order page, check the box to agree to the Distributed Transaction Terms of Service, and then click Activate Now.

   5. On the Component Center page, find the distributed transaction component and click Get Started.
