How to send and receive emails with Outlook Express?
The Alibaba Cloud free personal mailbox supports receiving emails using POP and sending emails using SMTP. To send and receive emails with Outlook Express, add your email account by following the steps below.
1. On the toolbar, click Tools and select Accounts.
2. Click "Add", and then select "Mail". Enter your display name, such as your name, and then click "Next".
3. In the "E-mail Address" field, enter your Alibaba Cloud email address, and then click "Next".
4. Enter the server names for incoming and outgoing mail, and then click "Next".
5. On the "Internet Mail Logon" page, enter your Alibaba Cloud email address and password, and then click "Next".
6. Click "Finish".
7. Click the Property button on the page that appears.
8. In the "pop3.mail.aliyun.com Properties" dialog box, select the "Servers" tab. Select the "My server requires authentication" checkbox, and then click "OK".
9. In the "pop3.mail.aliyun.com Properties" dialog box, select the "Advanced" tab. Select the "Leave a copy of messages on server" checkbox, and then click "OK" to complete the configuration.
