Checks whether the snapshot creation time that you specified for each automatic snapshot policy falls in a specified time range. If so, the evaluation result is Compliant.
Scenarios
When a snapshot is being created, the I/O performance of Elastic Block Storage devices degrades. We recommend that you specify a snapshot creation time within off-peak hours.
Risk level
Default risk level: medium.
When you apply this rule, you can change the risk level based on your business requirements.
Compliance evaluation logic
- If the snapshot creation time that you specified for each automatic snapshot policy falls in a specified time range, the evaluation result is Compliant.
- If the snapshot creation time that you specified for an automatic snapshot policy falls out of a specified time range, the evaluation result is Incompliant. For more information about how to remediate an incompliant configuration, see Incompliance remediation.
