On the Human-computer interaction page, you can select a companion app for a product. You can also configure services and voice interactions. After a product is sold, consumers can use the app to attach and control your devices.
Prerequisites
A product has been created in the console. For more information, see Create a product.
Background information
The platform lets you select one or more of the following apps: Tmall Genie App, Cloud Intelligence App, and proprietary apps. For more information, see App overview. The configuration items and subsequent steps vary depending on the app you select.
You must complete and save the configuration for all items marked as required to proceed. If you cannot find a required item on the page, check the Onboarding Assistant in the upper-right corner of the product development page. The assistant lists the human-computer interaction features that you need to configure. For more information, see Intelligent Onboarding Assistant.
Procedure
- Log on to the Living IoT Platform.
- On the project homepage, go to the Human-computer interaction page for the product.
- Turn on the Tmall Genie or Cloud Intelligence App switch.
When you open the Human-computer interaction page for the first time, select one or more apps from the Tmall Genie App and the Cloud Intelligence App. This selection determines the subsequent configuration steps.
Note If a proprietary app has already been created for the project, the Control with proprietary app option is enabled by default. If you have not created a proprietary app but need one to control your product, you must first create a proprietary app and associate it with the project. For more information, see Create a proprietary app. - (Optional) To change the selected app, click Edit next to Select App Client
- Click Save. The page then automatically displays the feature configuration items for the selected app.
After you select an app, configure its features. The platform provides the following features. The table below shows which features are supported by each app (√ = Supported, x = Not supported).
