How to publish a product on the platform-Link Living-阿里云帮助中心

After you finish debugging a product's features, you must publish the product before you can mass-produce devices. This action locks the product's features to prevent accidental changes. After you publish a product, its status on the project homepage changes to Published. At this point, you can no longer modify or delete the product.

Prerequisites

You have created a product on the IoT Platform, defined its features, and configured its app.
Development and debugging of the product's features are complete.

Log in to the IoT Platform console.
Go to the Batch Production page for the product.
Confirm the basic product information.

Confirm that the product name displayed in the Cloud Intelligence app meets the requirements. If the name does not meet the requirements, return to the UI Configuration page to modify it. For more information about the product name requirements, see Configure product display.

Note
If the Cloud Intelligence app is the interaction terminal and you select the Manually select from product list/Search check box under Network Configuration Guide, the product name requires a backend review before publication. For more information, see Configure network configuration guide.
(Optional) Upload a product demo video to Youku and paste the video link into the IoT Platform console. For more information, see Upload a product demo video.
The uploaded video must include the following content:
- A complete demo of configuring the network for the product using a Tmall Genie speaker
- A complete demo of configuring the network for the product using the Tmall Genie app
- A complete demo of controlling the product with voice commands
  
  Note
  If some product properties do not support voice control, you must email the business team to explain the situation. The email address is aligenie.iot@list.alibaba-inc.com. Otherwise, the product will not pass the review for publication.
- A demo of the control panel in the Tmall Genie app. The panel can be the standard one provided by the platform or a custom one that you develop.
Select the I fully understand and agree to the Developer Notice and the Authorization Agreement and I fully understand and agree to the Tmall Genie Smart Application Platform Cooperation Agreement check boxes.
Click Publish Product.

After you submit the publication request, we will review the information you provided. The review result will be sent by text message to the mobile number registered with your Alibaba Cloud account. You can also view the review result on this page.

Impacts of revoking publication

After a product is published, if you want to modify or delete it, you must first click Revoke Publication. This action returns the product to the Developing state. You can then modify or delete it. The impacts of revoking publication on mass-produced devices are as follows.

Tmall Genie app	Activated devices Features continue to work normally without any impact. Unactivated devices You can add devices by scanning for nearby devices to configure the network. If you try to configure the network through the category entry, the product name will not be found in the device list.	All modifications will affect the features of activated devices. Before making changes, fully assess the potential impact on activated devices. Except for changes to the Network Configuration Guide, which require you to republish the product to take effect, all other modifications take effect immediately. You cannot modify some features on the Human-Computer Interaction page. For more information, see App Configuration Rules.
Cloud Intelligence app	Activated devices Features continue to work normally without any impact. Unactivated devices The product disappears from the categories in the public version of the app. Unactivated devices cannot find the product name in the device list when configuring the network through the category entry.	All modifications will affect the features of activated devices. Before making changes, fully assess the potential impact on activated devices and whether the corresponding features in the app need to be updated. All modifications take effect immediately. Some features on the Human-Computer Interaction page are not modifiable. For more information, see App Configuration Rules.
Proprietary app	Activated devices Features continue to work normally without any impact. Unactivated devices This only affects the result returned when you call the Get a list of products that support network configuration API operation. When this API operation is called, the list of devices pending network configuration will not include the device corresponding to the revoked product.
