After you develop and test the product features, the device is ready for mass production. Follow the procedure in this topic to start batch production.

The mass production process depends on the product's authentication method, as shown in the following table.

Product mass production process
- Publish the product.
Before you publish the product, confirm its information. Select the I have read and agree to the Developer Notice and Authorization Agreement and I have read and agree to the Tmall Genie Smart Application Platform Cooperation Agreement check boxes. For more information, see Publish a product.
- Purchase activation codes. For more information, see Purchase activation codes.
- For Link Visual products, purchase them on the Purchase Video Activation Codes page.
- For products other than Link Visual, purchase them on the Purchase Activation Codes page.
- Start a trial production run.
Configure a small number of devices for the trial run. For more information, see Mass-produce devices.
- Start mass production.
Configure the actual number of devices for mass production. For more information, see Mass-produce devices.
- (Optional for Tmall Genie App) List the product.
After the product is listed, it appears on the page in the Tmall Genie App and becomes visible to all users.
