Manage shared contacts for your organization. Members can view and use these contacts from the address book.
Manage contact groups
Create a group
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts > New Group. Enter a group name and click Ok.
Rename a group
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts > Rename Group. Enter a new group name and click Ok.
Delete a group
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts, select the target group, and click Delete Group.
Manage contacts
Method 1: Create a contact
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts. Select a contact group, click New Contact, and fill in the required information.
Click More Information. Enter the contact details and choose whether to share the contact in the organization address book.
To add multiple accounts, click Continue to add an account. Click Save when done.
Method 2: Import contacts from a file
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts > Import/Export. Select Import.
Download the template, fill in the contact details, and save the file.
After uploading, check the Task Hub for progress and results.
Edit a contact
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts. Click the contact to modify.
Modify the information and click Save.
Delete a contact
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts. Select the contacts to delete and click Delete.
Deleted public contacts cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution. Save contact information before deletion. You can re-create the contact after it is deleted.
Transfer a contact
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts. Select the contacts to transfer and click Transfer to.
Select the destination group and click Ok.
Export contacts
Sign in to the Domain Management Console with the postmaster account. Go to Organization and Users > Public Contacts > Import/Export. Select Export by group or Export all, choose the properties to export, and click Ok. Check the Task Hub for results.
Use public contacts
Members can view and use contact information in the address book.
The contact card shows organization details, related attachments, and email subjects.
Click a contact, then click the mail icon in the upper-right corner to compose an email.
On the compose page, click the plus icon in the recipient field to select public contacts from the address book.
