Purchase video activation codes

  1. On the platform homepage, choose Activation Code Management.

  2. On the Activation Code Management page, click Activation Code Overview > Purchase Video Activation Code.

  3. (Optional) On the project homepage, choose Mass Production Overview > Video Activation Code, and then click Purchase Video Activation Code.

    Note

The page to purchase video activation codes is available under Mass Production Management only after you enable the Link Visual service.

  4. Select the video product specifications, specify the quantity of activation codes to purchase, and complete the payment as prompted.

The prices of video activation codes vary based on their specifications. The price displayed on the page is the final price. The specifications for video activation codes are described as follows.

    • IPC (Consumer): For connecting video surveillance cameras in personal consumer scenarios, such as home use.

    • IPC (Business): For connecting video surveillance cameras in Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) scenarios, such as store or villa monitoring.

    • NVR: For Network Video Recorder (NVR) devices. An NVR is a gateway device.

    • IPC (NVR Connection): For connecting video cameras that connect only to an NVR gateway device.

After you purchase an NVR activation code, you must also purchase activation codes for the IPC (NVR Connection) devices that connect to the NVR. The required number of IPC (NVR Connection) activation codes is the number of channels multiplied by the number of NVR activation codes.
