Preparations
Before calling the AI Guardrails API, complete the account setup, activate the service, and get your credentials. Review the concurrency limits so you can plan your integration accordingly.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
An Alibaba Cloud account. If you don't have one, register at the Alibaba Cloud official website.
Familiarity with the user agreement and billing method for AI Guardrails.
If you're a Resource Access Management (RAM) user, ask your administrator to grant you the required permissions before proceeding. See Use a RAM user to call AI Guardrails API operations for details.
Concurrency limits
Review the concurrency limits of the AI Guardrails API before you integrate. Understanding the limits at this stage helps you plan your request volume and avoid throttling issues during development.
If you want to scan many images and require a better price, you can contact your account manager or purchase a resource plan. For more information, see Purchase a resource plan.
Activate AI Guardrails and get your AccessKey
Go to the and click AI Guardrails activation pageActivate Now.
Get an AccessKey ID and an AccessKey secret. See Obtain an AccessKey for instructions.
An AccessKey is the credential used to call AI Guardrails API operations. It grants full access to your Alibaba Cloud account. Store it securely—treat it like a password—and rotate it regularly to reduce exposure risk.
