1. Service overview

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the professional design and consulting services that Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. (Alibaba Cloud) will provide to XXXX (the customer) for the Migration Consulting Project (this project).

This SOW specifies the service catalog, scope of services, and responsibilities of both parties. It governs the service behavior of both parties.

This SOW is an attachment to the 'XXX Application System Cloud Migration Consulting Service Project Contract'. The implementation of this SOW must comply with the terms and conditions of the 'XXXX Application System Cloud Migration Consulting Service Project Contract'.

2. Service scope

The services provided by Alibaba Cloud for this project include the following:

• Assess the feasibility of migrating the customer's business systems to the cloud platform through research and analysis.

• Design the product selection and application architecture for the customer's business systems based on the Alibaba Cloud platform.

• Design migration solutions for the customer's application systems, storage, and databases based on the Alibaba Cloud platform and products.

• Alibaba Cloud does not provide application system development or specific application and database redesign. However, Alibaba Cloud provides consulting, technical guidance, and solutions for the business systems being migrated to the cloud.

The services provided by Alibaba Cloud for this project do not include the following:

• Application refactoring, application design, or database logical schema design

• Migration of application systems not explicitly identified as "in-scope"

• Migration of data not explicitly identified as "in-scope"

• Design and setup of the cloud platform's underlying infrastructure and environment

• Communication infrastructure and components required for implementation

• Installation, configuration, or support for electrical, electronic communication, and cabling infrastructure and components

• Installation and configuration of non-IT equipment and desktop devices, such as desks, chairs, printers, air conditioners, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and tapes

3. Prerequisites

• This project will be executed at the customer's office location.

• The customer must provide necessary office facilities at the start of the project. These include desks, chairs, restrooms, power outlets, and network cables. The office environment must be free of harmful pollutants. If work is outdoors, the customer must provide protection from severe weather and ensure the safety of Alibaba Cloud personnel.

• All work records and documents for this project will be in Chinese, provided as per the customer's requirements. Electronic documents will be submitted in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Project format.

• During the project, communication methods agreed upon by both parties will be used, including the Internet, fax, email, and paper documents.

• For on-site services, an entry report must be signed with the customer. Both parties will confirm the service start and end times.

4. Service content

4.1. Cloud infrastructure design for business systems

Cloud migration feasibility analysis. Alibaba Cloud gathers information about the customer's current business systems and goals using surveys, interviews, and automated tools. We assess the technical feasibility, cost, and challenges of migrating these systems. Based on system characteristics, we provide cloud product options and modification suggestions. We deliver a comprehensive feasibility analysis report for the cloud migration.

Cloud infrastructure design. Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current and expected infrastructure. We analyze the elastic computing and network architecture of the on-premises systems. We then design the cloud infrastructure, including elastic computing, network architecture, data center-to-cloud connectivity, and network security policies. We select suitable Alibaba Cloud networking services to meet functional, performance, and security needs.

Business cutover design. Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current computing, storage, and security. We analyze the system's characteristics in these areas. We then design and plan the migration steps, procedures, and cutover strategy to ensure service continuity.

4.2. Online business system migration design

Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current system architecture and business goals. We analyze the application architecture and technology stack. We then select suitable cloud products, such as elastic computing, storage, databases, and middleware. We design a cloud application architecture that meets the customer's needs for function, performance, security, and high availability.

4.3. Online business storage migration design

Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current and expected storage state. We select suitable cloud storage products and specifications. We design full and incremental migration solutions tailored to the business. We plan application modifications based on cloud storage products, validate key migration technologies, and provide a detailed data migration solution for storage.

4.4. Online business database migration design

Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current and expected database state. We analyze the type, quantity, architecture, performance metrics, and O&M of existing databases. We then select suitable ApsaraDB products and specifications. We design the database specifications, storage policies, application architecture, and O&M control policies. We also provide application modification suggestions to support the customer's business growth.

4.5. Hybrid cloud network design

Assess the current networking state of the business systems and the customer's expected networking goals. Design a hybrid cloud networking solution based on policies such as leased lines and VPN Gateways. Evaluate leased line bandwidth, plan CIDR blocks and routing for each subnet, and design access policies for each subnet.

4.6. Cloud private network access design

Alibaba Cloud assesses the customer's current and expected access state. We design a cloud private network access solution using OpenVPN. The solution supports authentication and access control through protocols such as LDAP. It enables permission management for cloud product access using Alibaba Cloud's directory service to improve enterprise security on the private network.

Project kickoff meeting -> Project plan submission -> System assessment -> Cloud architecture design -> Migration consulting acceptance -> Post-solution consulting

6. Project milestones

The consulting project has five main milestones:

• Project kickoff meeting. Alibaba Cloud submits the 'Project Kickoff Report'. The customer is responsible for holding the kickoff meeting. Both parties agree on the project's main content, execution methods, and expected goals.

• Project plan review. Alibaba Cloud submits the 'Project Consulting Plan'. Both parties agree on the project's execution content, process, steps, and schedule.

• System status review. Alibaba Cloud submits the 'Cloud Migration Survey Report'. Both parties agree on the report's content and confirm that the surveyed business system's scope, architecture, specifications, and controls reflect the current state.

• Consulting report review. Alibaba Cloud submits the 'Cloud Migration Consulting Report'. Both parties agree on the report's content and confirm that the recommended product selection, architecture, and migration plan meet expectations.

• Migration consulting acceptance. After Alibaba Cloud submits the 'Project Acceptance Report', the customer must confirm the report's content and sign off on it within 5 business days.

[Note] The project start date is the signing date of the 'XXXX Application System Cloud Migration Consulting Service Project Contract'.

7. Customer responsibilities

• The customer must appoint a project owner to help Alibaba Cloud execute the consulting service. This owner is responsible for coordination between both parties, such as arranging for relevant personnel to participate in system surveys. The owner is also responsible for reviewing and accepting Alibaba Cloud's services.

• During the project, the customer must arrange for relevant business personnel to participate in surveys, meetings, and reviews as scheduled. They must provide the project team with accurate information about the current business situation and expected goals.

• During the project, the customer must arrange for relevant technical personnel from requirements, design, development, O&M, and control to participate as scheduled. They must provide the project team with accurate and appropriate information about the current technical situation and expected goals.

• During the project, the customer must arrange for relevant managers or decision-makers to participate in key meetings and milestones as scheduled. They must stay informed about project progress and promote the prompt and effective resolution of issues.

• During the project, the customer must coordinate the participation of other resources as scheduled. They must provide the project team with accurate and appropriate information about the current situation and expected goals.

8. Acceptance criteria

The project acceptance process can begin when the following criteria are met:

• Alibaba Cloud submits the following project reports to the customer:

• After the project reports are submitted, the customer must confirm the solution within 5 business days. If there are no objections, both parties will sign the 'Acceptance Report'.

• The signing of the project 'Acceptance Report' signifies the completion of project acceptance.

9. Completion flag

When acceptance is passed and the 'Acceptance Report' is signed, the migration consulting work is complete.
