Finance Cloud data centers
Alibaba Finance Cloud provides high-standard green data centers for customers in the finance industry. These data centers support a two-region three-data-center architecture and are located in four regions: Hangzhou (China East 1), Shanghai (China East 2), Shenzhen (China South 1), and Beijing (China North 2, invitational preview).
Alibaba Finance Cloud data centers have the following attributes:
Green data centers: We build green data centers that serve as national models. We achieve this using energy-saving equipment, energy monitoring, efficient power supplies, chiller plants, green buildings, and energy management policies.
Disaster recovery and backup: Alibaba Cloud provides disaster recovery plans that meet the strict regulations of the finance industry. We offer dual-center plans for general services and plans with three data centers across two regions for core services. Core services use an independent, custom physical cluster with dedicated network bandwidth to avoid performance contention and deliver stable, high-performance cloud services. These clusters are isolated from public clusters and managed separately to provide greater security and stability.
Leased line access: We provide a secure and private communication channel. This channel helps you meet compliance requirements by preventing security risks and the leakage of sensitive information during transmission. Leased line access ensures high-speed connectivity with internal bank networks and supports real-time business needs.
Multi-line BGP networks: Our multi-line Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) networks provide direct connections to Internet Data Centers (IDCs) and are interconnected with multiple carriers. This ensures high-speed access for users from different carriers.
CDN service: Alibaba Cloud CDN has over 300 points of presence (POPs) distributed across China. These POPs provide effective coverage for different regions and carriers, ensuring fast access for all users. The advanced system architecture, ample bandwidth, and node resources can handle traffic spikes from large numbers of concurrent users. Our comprehensive monitoring and service system, combined with our extensive experience in CDN operations, allows us to deliver a fast, efficient, and elastic CDN service.
