Purchasing guide
This topic describes the regions, editions, and subscription durations available for Data Resource Platform instances.
Background information
Before you purchase Data Resource Platform, note the following:
Before you purchase, contact Alibaba Cloud pre-sales support. You must provide your enterprise data requirements and background information. The pre-sales team will confirm if the current Data Resource Platform version and features meet your needs, and then grant you purchase permission.
Unconditional refunds are not available for Data Resource Platform. Before you purchase, carefully confirm the edition that you need. If you request a refund after your purchase, a fee for the used service is deducted. For more information about refund details, submit a ticket.
Data Resource Platform supports yearly and monthly subscriptions.
Purchase process
Log in to the Data Resource Platform purchase page.
Configure the region, edition, and subscription duration.
Region: The public cloud edition of Data Resource Platform is available in China (Shenzhen), China (Hangzhou), China (Shanghai), and China (Beijing).
NoteSelect the same region where your cloud resources, such as ECS, RDS, MaxCompute, and ACK, are located. This provides better performance and reduces network costs.
Edition: The available editions are Trial, Basic, Premium, Professional, and Ultimate. The following table provides details.

Subscription Duration: The subscription duration varies by edition.
Only new customers can purchase the Trial Edition. Each customer can purchase this edition only once for a one-month subscription.
The Ultimate Edition supports only yearly subscriptions.
The Basic, Premium, and Professional editions support monthly and yearly subscriptions.
You can select Auto-renewal upon expiration to prevent service disruptions caused by resource suspension or release. If you select this option, the default auto-renewal cycle is monthly. The actual cycle depends on your order. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time. For more information, see the Renewal guide.
