Data Security Center (DSC) sends real-time notifications about data audit alerts, log storage capacity alerts, and abnormal AK access alerts to a specified mailbox to help you promptly handle abnormal issues and ensure your services operate normally. This topic describes how to configure alert notifications for mailboxes, text messages, and phone calls.
Procedure
Log on to the Data Security Center console.
In the navigation pane on the left, select .
On the Alert Notification tab, click Create Alert Configuration.
In the Create Alert Rule panel, configure the settings and click OK.

Alert Method
Select a notification method: Mailbox, Text Message, or Phone Call.
Email address verification
If you set Alert Method to Mailbox, complete the Email address verification.
If you set Alert Method to Text Message or Phone Call, complete the Mobile Number Verification.
To prevent data leaks, you must verify the ownership of an email address or phone number before you add it to the recipient list. After you verify a contact method using a verification code, it is automatically added to the list of optional recipients. Perform the following steps to complete the verification:
In the email address or phone number text box, enter the contact information and click Get Verification Code.
In the verification code text box, enter the code and click Verification.

Select the email addresses or phone numbers of the alert recipients.
Alert Configurations
Select the alert types for which to send notifications, and set the alert levels or alert threshold. You can select multiple alert levels. The options are:
Audit Alerts: Sends a notification when an audit alert is detected that matches your configured audit policies and selected alert levels.
Storage alerts: Sends a notification when the used log storage capacity exceeds the specified alert threshold.
Unusual AccessKey Pair Usage: If you use the Detection and Response value-added service, DSC sends a notification when it detects an unhandled AK access event. Notifications are sent using the specified method. Currently, only Mailbox and Text Message are supported.
Maximum Alerts
Set the maximum number of notifications that can be sent for the same rule within 24 hours.
You can set the value to an integer from 0 to 10. The default value is 10. The alert count is reset to 0 at 00:00 every day. If you set this parameter to 0, no alert notifications are sent.
